Telluride Historical Museum

The Telluride Historical Museum offers engaging annual exhibitions alongside the Museum’s permanent collection of artifacts from the region’s Ute heritage, robust mining history, and ski and festival history. Ten rooms, each with their own theme, showcase these different aspects of Telluride history. Hands-on, interactive, and rotating displays engage all the senses, giving visitors new experiences each visit.

Horseback Riding

You may find some of the best views in Colorado are while riding the trail on horseback at Circle K Ranch. This method of travel provides for a peaceful, yet adventurous experience during your stay. The most popular, Rio Lado Creek, ride allows for a short ride along the Dolores River and then up the trail through old growth spruce and aspen groves over a 2 hour time frame.

Wagner Custom Skis Factory Tour

Join Wagner Custom Skis and Snowboards for a private tour of their sustainable ski factory in the center of Mountain Village. CEO Pete Wagner will walk through his custom ski process, all while taking a look at what sets Wagner Custom apart from other ski manufacturers. Pete will show the different materials that are used to build varying ski types, and the different stages of custom ski production. Join us for an afternoon of winter envy at the Wagner factory. This custom tour will last roughly an hour.

Fly Fishing

Telluride's rivers provide some of the best trout fishing in the Rocky Mountains.  Near Telluride, the San Miguel, Dolores, Uncompahgre and Gunnison offer unique fly fishing opportunities, and a network of lakes, ponds and alpine creeks offer even more.

Half day walk & wade
