WHAT TO BRING/RECOMMENDED ATTIRE:

  • Snowmobile-rated helmets are provided by our guides. Do not wear your own ski or snowboard helmet, as they are not rated for motor sports.
  • Guests are encouraged to dress like they would for a day of skiing or snowboarding. To ensure maximum warmth and comfort, guests should wear waterproof snow boots and waterproof, breathable, synthetic (non-cotton) base layers underneath their waterproof jacket and snow pants.
  • Guests should also bring their own sunglasses or goggles, as well as a neck gaiter and a warm, insulating layer (wool, fleece or synthetic loft) to go over one’s base layers and under their waterproof jacket for extra-chilly conditions.
  • Drivers of sleds are encouraged to wear gloves as opposed to mittens for ideal grip of the vehicle. Many of our sleds have optional heated hand-grips for drivers.
  • We highly recommend guests bring a lightweight backpack to store shredded layers, SPF lip balm, sunscreen, their own salty and protein-packed snacks and something to hydrate with. Collapsible water bottles are available for purchase at the Telluride Adventure Center.
